About the Music
The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a program of cinematic grandeur, virtuosity, and celebration. Korngold’s thrilling Captain Blood Overture and Verdi’s dramatic I Vespri Siciliani frame Franz Liszt’s dazzling Totentanz, featuring acclaimed pianist Konstantin Soukhovetski, before Johann Strauss II’s sparkling Die Fledermaus Overture brings the celebration to a jubilant close.
