Shaleah Feinstein

Shaleah Feinstein is a New York-based violinist who is an associate musician with The Metropolitan Opera and a substitute with the New York Philharmonic. Since earning her master’s degree at The Juilliard School she has been Jon Batiste’s violinist, performing as principal second violin of the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra and subbing on Broadway. Shaleah has performed alongside artists such as Ed Sheeran, RAYE, Halsey, and Kygo and on TV shows including The Today Show and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Shaleah loves being a session musician, her recording credits span from songs with Machine Gun Kelly to movies such as Renfield. You can find her playing with a range of orchestras across the city, including Chamber Orchestra of New York, Orchestra Q and Chamber Orchestra of America. 

During her undergraduate studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, she was a contracted first violinist with the Canton and Akron Symphonies and served as principal second violin of the Cleveland Opera. Shaleah was contracted for a summer season with the San Francisco Opera in 2023.
