Jesdelson Vasquez
Jesdelson is currently freelancing in NYC performing in venues such as The DiMenna Center, Symphony Space, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Jesdelson Vasquez is currently finishing his bachelors degree at the Manhattan School of Music under the private instruction of Ethan Bensdorf of the New York Philharmonic. He has been awarded an Orchestral Trumpet Fellowship to both the Interlochen Arts Camp and the Aspen Music Festival.
He is also a current member of the Harlem Brass Quintet which received the Orchestra of St. Luke’s Chamber Fellowship in 2022. This group was also a two-time winner of the Lilian-Fuchs Chamber Music Competition.
Jesdelson is currently freelancing in NYC performing in venues such as The DiMenna Center, Symphony Space, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. Through his work Jesdelson strives to redefine and expand the narrative of the classical musician in the 21st century, and to push the boundaries of how we as a society see a normal orchestra everyday. Past teachers include Jonathan Hiem, Stuart Stephenson, and Raymond Mase.
